When I do engagement shoots, I always like to arrive at the agreed location early. I do this so that I can observe the couple as they arrive. This tells me a lot about how the shoot will go. If the couple seems disjointed... him checkin his blackberry, her on the phone with a friend, then I know the shoot is going to be a lot of work. However, if they arrive holding hands, laughing or in a playful mood, then I know the shoot has a very good chance of turning out great. Stan and Kelly fall into the latter senario. They walked up holding hands, smiling and looking into each others eyes. "Yes sir! ", I said to myself. This is going to be a great shoot...

Zoe and Victoria
I really had a fun time photographing Zoe and Victoria. I had been trying to get them in my studio for quite sometime. When they first got there, I could tell they were a litte apprehensive about the whole idea. I started saying and doing funny things to make them laugh and relax. Once I saw that they were comfortable, I started shooting. Here are samples of the results.
